I am interested in sustainable resource management. Rivers, oceans, forests and deserts are especially appealing to me. This interest has led me to work in the fields of conservation, land use planning, sustainable infrastructure, GIS, non-profit management and community development. Most of my work has been in Mexico, Spain and the United States. Currently I am engaged in PhD research in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Illinois.
